MASAE CAE Study Group
MASAE is forming a CAE study group for 6-8 participants. Meetings will occur at night with participants’ offices hosting the sessions. Resource lists and online resources will be created for the exchange of information between participants. Our goal will be to have participants share responsibility for preparing individual domains for presentation to the group, with each member responsible for 1 domain.
The CAE designation is a mark of achievement for any leader in the field of association management. Certification is conferred by the American Society of Association Executives (ASAE) for demonstrating a high level of competence in association management, documenting professional, educational and community service achievements and fulfilling prescribed standards of performance and conduct.
You are eligible to become a CAE if:
- You have at least three years as a chief executive officer or five years association management experience.
- You are currently employed full time in a trade association, professional society or philanthropic organization
- You pledge in writing to adhere to ASAE Code of Standards of Conduct and have no felony convictions
This study group will be free to MASAE members. However, there may be an informal meal cost.
